Example from "Month-end statement from a key supplier". Invented names, real math from the tools.

Give it the open items from a supplier's statement and the open items in your accounts payable ledger. It pairs them by exact reference and shows what matches, what differs in amount or date, and what's on only one side. Every original row stays in the report, so you can show the supplier the evidence.

Made for Bookkeepers, Accounts payable clerks, Finance managers at small firms

3 requests, start to finish

Example chats. Each one uses real tools of this server, named as they run. The people and firms are made up.

Example done on the free tier. Doing this every week? Pro removes the limit for $19, once. Free vs Pro

  1. Example 1 · Priya Shah, AP clerk at a food wholesaler in Manchester, UKMonth-end statement from a key supplier

Here is the October statement from Fresh Fields Ltd (42 open items) and our ledger for them (40 items), both as at 31 Oct. Check them and tell me what doesn't agree.
    • supplier_statement_check Groups items by entity, supplier, currency, type and reference, and lists each difference
    • report_page Pages through the discrepancy section with the original rows

38 matches, 2 invoices only on the statement (GBP 1,240.00 and GBP 318.50), and 1 amount mismatch on INV-7731: GBP 960.00 on the statement against GBP 690.00 in the ledger.

Saves about 60 min (our estimate)

  2. Example 2 · Krzysztof Malinowski, chief accountant at a building supplies firm in Poznan, PolandKeep evidence for a supplier dispute

Compare the Stal-Pol statement and our ledger at 30 September, save the report, and give me a CSV of the differences for their accountant.
    • supplier_statement_check Runs the exact-reference check and saves the report
    • report_export_csv Writes one CSV row per original statement and ledger item

A saved report and a CSV that shows credit note KN/09/114 for 4,500.00 PLN on the statement with no match in the ledger, plus two date mismatches.

Saves about 40 min (our estimate)

  3. Example 3 · Sophie Martin, finance manager at a design agency in Lyon, FranceFind a duplicate reference before paying

Check the Imprimerie Duval statement against our ledger as at 25 Oct before I approve the payment run.
    • supplier_statement_check Flags reference F-2026-881 as ambiguous because it appears twice in the ledger
    • report_get Shows the summary counts for the report

The report marks F-2026-881 (EUR 2,150.00) as ambiguous instead of picking a pair. Sophie holds that line and pays the other 11 matched invoices.

Saves about 25 min (our estimate)

Questions

Does it read the PDF statement?
No. You supply the open items as structured records. There's no OCR, no ERP link and no currency conversion.
How does it match items?
Only by exact entity, supplier, currency, document type and reference. It doesn't guess. A reference that appears twice on one side is marked ambiguous.
What does Pro add?
Only more saved reports. Free keeps 3, and deleting one frees its slot.
