Open a packing list for an order, state what the order says should ship, and record what goes into each carton with weights. You see what's still short, the gross and chargeable weight per carton, and a packing slip with no prices on it. Mark it shipped with the carrier and tracking number, and the list is frozen as the record.

    Gross 12.15 kg and 8.81 kg, volumetric 19.2 kg each, so the chargeable total is 38.4 kg. Hannah books the right rate the first time.

Questions

Does it read my orders from another system?
No. You state the ordered lines on the packing list with packing_expect.
What if a carton has no dimensions?
The chargeable total comes back empty, not a guess.
Can I edit a shipped list?
No. A shipped list is frozen as the record of what left the building.
